The first ever GSPN Triple J All-Star Football Game is ON for Sunday, Nov. 8th at JFK's Ramsey Field at 6:30pm. Rain or shine!
“This All-Star Game is a unique opportunity for our youth – it encourages and supports progressive development of our players – especially those who will go off and make a name for Guam – this is something that has been a long time coming and is all a testament to GSPN and Triple J’s commitment to support sustainable youth football programs,” said Jay Jones, Senior Vice President of Triple J Enterprises, Inc.
“We have two local businesses that have the same vision, and that’s supporting our hard-working athletes,” GSPN’s Patrick Lujan said. “It’s really something more for the kids to work toward, than just a mention on the All-Island list voted by the coaches.”
In fact, the all-star teams are made up of players from the IIAAG All-Island list and the game is sanctioned by the IIAAG.
All the best high school gridiron players will be dawning fresh uniforms as the Blue Raptors take on the Silver Mustangs.
Bruce Meno, who led the FD Friars to a perfect 7-0 record, will lead the Silver Mustangs group, 1st Defense/2nd Offense and Ryan Rios of GW will lead the Blue Raptors group, 1st Offense /2nd Defense.
Also scheduled to take place are 40-yard dash races from the fastest runners from the Triple J Guam National Youth Football Federation Youth Football League representing all teams and divisions as well as a halftime throwing exhibition – Legends Shootout - from the two best quarterbacks of all-time from Guam: Tony Posadas and Brant McCreadie!
Support your favorite team and wear SILVER or BLUE on Game Day!
Outback Steakhouse and Triple J Five Star will fill your appetite so come out and watch the best of the best and taste the best at the GSPN Triple J All Star Football Game on Sunday, November 8th at JFK Ramsey Field at 6:30pm.
