Outback Steakhouse Guam will be closed temporarily beginning Sunday, November 5th for a major remodel. It is expected to re-open in early December. The renovation is part of their 20th Anniversary activities and their commitment to Guam to deliver products and services of top quality that exceed their customers’ expectations. As part of this pledge, and while renovations are under way, the staff and management team will take their ‘spirit of giving’ to the community by hosting several outreach events:

·       On Saturday, November 4th from 10am-3pm, Outback will hold a Car Wash event at the Triple J Auto Group Main Location in Upper Tumon (in front of Kmart), $5 per vehicle, with all proceeds to support Special Olympics of Guam.

·       On Tuesday, November 7th from 5:30pm – 8pm, Outback will hold a Drive-up BBQ “Dinner with your Veteran” event at the Triple J Auto Group Main Location in Upper Tumon (in front of Kmart), $10 per person (your Veteran receive a FREE BBQ plate). Additionally, each Veteran will receive a FREE movie ticket to watch “No Greater Love”, the award winning documentary and independent film to benefit the Veterans Outreach Program, that will share firsthand experience of war and its aftermath from a soldier’s perspective, opening on November 10th at the Guam Regal Cinemas.

·       On Saturday, November 18th during the Triple J Family Fun Run being held at the Triple J Main Location at 6am, Outback will host FREE breakfast for all runners and volunteers.

·       On Monday, November 20th, Outback will volunteer time and food service to feed the homeless at the Dededo Mayor’s Office beginning at 5pm.

“Outback has a strong commitment to improving the quality of life of each community in which it does business, with the belief that giving should be for the sake of giving, rather than gaining,” said Selena Elicio, Proprietor and Managing Partner for Outback Steakhouse Guam. “The philosophy is simple and is a foundation of being a good neighbor so it only made sense to bring our team out into the community as a thank you to Guam for 20 years of support.”

In response to the growth of the tourism industry, Triple J Enterprises, Inc. acquired the franchise for Outback Steakhouse in Guam in December 1995 and started its new division, Triple J Restaurant Group, Inc. to develop the new restaurant, which had its grand opening in early 1997. The restaurant became an instant popular dining destination for tourists and island residents.

In April 2017 Outback Steakhouse Guam received the Outback Steakhouse Managing Partner of the Year Award, recognized for outstanding performance across a range of categories, with emphasis on special talent in keeping up staff momentum and motivation and the Platinum Club Award honoring Triple J Restaurant Group, Inc. on the 20th Anniversary of Outback Steakhouse on Guam.

Triple J Enterprises, Inc. has served the island communities for over three decades. The Triple J group of companies has several major operations, which include the Triple J Auto Group, which represents Ford, Lincoln, Mazda, Honda, Acura, Kia, and a used car dealership.
