Saipan, MP – April 17, 2025 – Triple J Saipan is pleased to announce two key promotions that strengthen its management team and reinforce the company’s ongoing commitment to operational excellence and customer service.
Charles Cepeda Appointed General Manager of Five Star Wholesale and Payless SuperFresh & Truckload Store
Effective April 1, 2025, Charles Cepeda has been promoted to General Manager of Triple J’s Saipan Five Star Wholesale and Payless SuperFresh & Truckload Store. He succeeds Jay Santos, who left the company in March to pursue new opportunities after nearly 20 years of service. Jay held key leadership roles throughout his career at Triple J, including at Hertz, the Corporate Office, and most recently, Five Star/Payless, where he contributed significantly to the company's growth.
Charles brings over two decades of management experience in sales, marketing, and operations, having served as General Manager of Pacific Trading Company for 22 years prior to joining Triple J in September 2024. He is also deeply involved in the community, having served in leadership roles with the Northern Marianas College Board of Regents, Joeten Kiyu Public Library, Saipan Rotary Club, and other civic organizations.
In his new role, Charles will oversee the wholesale and retail operations of Triple J’s Five Star Wholesale and Payless SuperFresh & Truckload Store on Saipan.
"Charles brings the right mix of experience, leadership, and community spirit to this important role," said Jeff Jones, President and CEO of Triple J Enterprises. "We are confident in his ability to lead these key business units and help drive continued growth and customer satisfaction across our retail and wholesale operations."
Patrick Aguon Promoted to Five Star Wholesale Sales Manager
Triple J also announces the promotion of Patrick Aguon to Five Star Wholesale Sales Manager, effective April 10, 2025.
Patrick began his career with Triple J in 2016 as a delivery driver for the Five Star Wholesale division. His dedication, strong work ethic, and excellent customer service skills quickly set him apart. In 2018, he was promoted to Sales Specialist, working directly under then-Sales Manager Esther Yamson, who recently relocated to the U.S. mainland after over 20 years of dedicated service.
Patrick credits his growth to the support of his team and the opportunities presented at Triple J. His promotion reflects the company’s strong culture of developing internal talent.
"Patrick has grown into a strong leader with a clear understanding of our customers’ needs," said Mike Sablan, Senior Vice President of Triple J Saipan. "He brings a positive energy and deep knowledge of our operations that will serve him and the team well in this new role."
Triple J congratulates both Charles and Patrick on their well-earned promotions and looks forward to their continued leadership in advancing the company’s mission of putting “Customers First”. Triple J celebrates this year its 40th year of doing business in the CNMI.
