(Chalan Kanoa, SAIPAN) May 8, 2024 – Triple J Saipan proudly announces its generous contribution of $10,000 to the Northern Marianas Sports Association (NMSA) to help cover transportation and lodging costs of local athletes participating in the upcoming Micronesian Games, scheduled to take place in the Marshall Islands from June 15 to 24, 2024.

The donation underscores Triple J’s unwavering commitment to fostering athletic excellence and sportsmanship within the Northern Mariana Islands. "At Triple J, we firmly believe in the power of sports to inspire, unite, and uplift communities," stated Robert Jones, Chairman and CEO of Triple J Enterprises, Inc. "By supporting our CNMI athletes on their journey to the 2024 Micronesian Games, we are investing in the future of sports and the development of our youth." Jones also thanked NMSA Chairman Jerry Tan for his decades of untiring leadership and dedication in promoting local and regional sports.  “Our community is indeed grateful and fortunate for Jerry’s and NMSA’s good work,” he added.

Vice President Mike Sablan echoed these sentiments, emphasizing the importance of providing athletes with the necessary resources to compete at the highest level. "As a proud member of the Northern Marianas community, Triple J is honored to contribute to the success of our local athletes," remarked Sablan. "This donation reflects our ongoing commitment to promoting health, wellness, and sporting excellence across the region."

NMSA board members and Team Marianas representatives expressed gratitude for Triple J's generous contribution, recognizing the significant impact it will have on the CNMI Team's preparation and participation in the Micronesian Games. Jerry Tan, President of NMSA, commended Triple J's support, stating, "We extend our heartfelt appreciation to Triple J for their generous donation, which will play a vital role in supporting our CNMI athletes as they represent our islands on the regional stage. Together, we are strengthening the bonds of sportsmanship and pride within our community and across Micronesia."

With the Micronesian Games fast approaching, Triple J remains committed to empowering local athletes and promoting the spirit of sportsmanship and camaraderie across the Northern Mariana Islands.
